Vita / Lebenslauf:
For many people the world is just there. It is finished and unchangeable. My paintings reflect the world as reality exists for me, raw and hard. Painful, Passionate, Intense and Emotional. For me, abstraction and abstract expressionism is all that, violence, humanity and the permanent liveliness in which we all move. Many people miss in abstract painting the smoothness, the perfection. And in that sense I don´t even know how to paint a picture. What I know how to do is the experience of trying to make a picture. it is perfectly possible in my work to see windows, flowers or what ever you want. But that is not the real subject matter. You don´t have to paint a figure in order to express human feelings. The game is not what things look like, the game is organizing states of feelings. A painting is finished exactly when it triggers in a person a overwhelming feeling that he can not describe. I want to trigger with my painting something in the viewer that touches him in the deepest inner. |
